Waiting for Baby | Raleigh Maternity Photography

Becoming a parent for the first time is full of anticipation and excitement. There is so much you don’t know, so much you hope for, so much you fear, and in the end, it’s all replaced by an all encompassing love. As I write this, the couple below has not yet met their little beauty, but she is due any day now.

I met them for the first time in their beautiful home, where I will return for their Newborn Session. They weren’t sure if maternity photography was a good fit for them, but I encouraged them to trust me, as even when it’s only two, my focus will always be on the love they share, the love they are anxiously anticipating.

They did something really fun and split their session up to get a few shots at the Lake, so you’ll see two very different ways to capture maternity, both equally beautiful.

I cannot wait to meet their little girl, and I hope she knows that she’s in for a real treat with these two as her parents!
