This beautiful family of six welcomed their fourth daughter last month, and I was in awe of the love that they shared. You met this sweet girl in the last post, at her Hospital Session. She was welcomed home by her three older sisters with so much love, they adore her with everything in them. She is one lucky girl to have such an incredible family.
We started off their in-home session with naturally posed portraits of baby. She loved to be curled up, that sense of security of being wrapped suited her well. I also love that she has already found her little thumb, and she would soothe herself right to sleep when needed.
When we were getting started she was wide awake, and mom was excited for some shots with her eyes open. I told her that wrapping them up can sometimes make them extra sleepy, and as the words left my mouth, I was laying her down, and her eyes closed. We all had a little laugh at that!
We used two beautiful quilts, one a family heirloom, and one (in her crib) made by her talented Mama! I absolutely love to incorporate quilts or blankets with special meaning into newborn sessions. It makes it all the more special!
Enough chatter, I assume you’re here to see this beautiful girl… So take a peek below!
